Grace and I woke up this morning with a spur of the moment idea to go to Krispy Kreme and Starbucks. Okay, okay, it was really my idea, but she enjoyed it just as much :) Oh how I LOVE drivethroughs, we loaded up in our pajamas and off we went. We are going out of town this weekend, so we surprised Grace with some Easter goodies a little early. A special thank you to Grandma Pugh for Grace's bunny, Grams and Pops for our Easter cards and Aunt Erin for Grace's bag and other goodies.
I do want to teach her the true meaning of Easter and that the goodies are just fun things but not what it is all about. I saw these Resurrection Eggs on another website and thought they would be a great tool in helping explain Jesus' death and resurrection. They are geared toward a little older age group though. Do you have other ideas for a 2 or 3 year old? I know there are many more "seasoned" parents and teachers out there full of ideas and advice :)

Happy Easter Grace!!!
Hey Grace (Laura and Ryan),
I'm enjoying the videos. They are so precious and Laura, you do such a good job. It's good to heard that Grace is already a Krispy Kreme kinda girl! (my favorite!)
We think about you often. Let us know if you come to Birmingham.
Love you guys!
