About Me

- We have been married since December 22nd, 2001. We were blessed with our beautiful daughter, Grace, on June 30th, 2006. She was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome,Coarctation of the Aorta, Transposition of the Great Arteries and Dextrocardia, the day after she was born. Grace had her first open heart surgery (Norwood) at 7 days old. Her second open heart surgery (Glenn) was performed at 4 months old. She recently had the third and hopefully final open heart surgery (Fontan)in December of 08. I chose the title Heart to Heart for two reasons. One, is sharing Grace's heart stories with other "heart" families and secondly, having a "heart to heart" in our family, is a time to sit down and share what is going on and happening in your life. This blog is the perfect place to do both and keep in touch with so many we don't get to see as often as we wished. Please feel free to leave us comments, we would love to hear from you.

How wonderful your thinking of us on grandparents day. As for the picture; It seems like so long ago. Glad you had a great trip to the beach. It is a neat surprise to get an upgrade! love and kisses
