2 and1/2

Grace had a followup cardiologist appointment yesterday. He was very pleased with her healing and has begun to decrease her diuretics. We are super excited about this. We were going through a pack of diapers in about a day or two. Poor thing would soak through a diaper as soon as you put a new one on her. The diuretics were also interfering with her sleep as we were having to give her a dose before bedtime. Thankfully that dose has been taken away and another diuretic altogether. So now we are just on Lasix twice a day. Potty training might actually happen in the near future :) We are also still oxygen free and so very thankful for that. We have another appointment with her cardiologist in a month and they will do an echo and possibly stop her diuretics altogether.

Now for the title of this post, Grace was officially 2 and a half years old yesterday :)

Happy 2 1/2 years Grace! I hear you about the Lasix, Gavin is still on two doses a day and will be til surgery. He has gone potty a couple of times on the potty but it's just not worth making it official with the bed wetting at night. So glad Grace is off oxygen!I hope that you all have a Happy New Year!!!

P.S. I got my blog post idea from another blog ;)
